What it takes
The Vice-President plays a key role in supporting the President and sharing the President’s roles where appropriate. The Vice-President will chair meetings in the absence of the Chair.

Duties and Key Responsibilities
1) To support the President in carrying out his/her duties as outlined below
2) Attend Society Officer Training
3) Calling and chairing meetings making sure everything is covered and no-one dominates
4) Delegating tasks – you shouldn’t do everything yourself!
5) Understanding the broader picture keeping the aims of the society in mind at all times
6) Being a spokesperson/figurehead and represent your society whenever you can
7) Maintaining committee enthusiasm – if you’re not passionate, no-one else will be
8) Read society emails
